These are for sure my new go-to boots. The wood grain look on the heel is lighter and more noticeable in person than in the pictures which I don't mind at all. The outer zipper doesn't work really but the inside zipper allows you to put them on/take off easier. For me these are true to size. I have average To larger calves and these are a bit snug in that area but I'm sure the boot will stretch a little over time. I like that these aren't a super shiny material and that they don't make a clacking noise on the ground like other boots I've owned have. Very happy with my purchase.
