These heels are GORGEOUS but they are NOT COMFORTABLE for long stretches. I’m halfway through my first day in them and they’re so painful I had to take them off and put on the emergency flats I keep hidden at my desk.

They’re good quality and come with complementary inserts (and heel replacement tips) but sadly those weren’t enough to relieve the excruciating pain of wearing them.

They also run a half size small. I’m a true 9.5 B (wide) but since they don’t come in wide sizes I went with the 10 regular. They fit like a 9.5 regular. They do have a smartly placed piece of elastic at the inside of each heel to help keep them from slipping off but again, they’re just so high that the balls of your feet WILL hurt after a few hours of wear.

If you’re buying them for an activity where you’ll mostly be seated or for a few hours of standing/walking, BUY THEM. But if you’re looking for comfortable heels you can walk in all day, take a HARD PASS.

Sadly, I’ll probably be returning them for something with a slightly lower heel but again, they are truly beautiful and well-made shoes.
