I had been in search for a pair of mid-heel black pumps that I could wear on interviews for medical residency programs. These interview days are often several hours long and involve tours of the hospital, so whatever shoe I ended up with needed to be comfortable. I saw that these were modestly priced and had very good reviews, so I decided to order a pair.

I have very high arches and always have trouble finding comfortable shoes, and I don't think I've ever found a heel that didn't cause a lot of ball-of-the-foot pain. These shoes were slightly better than most, as they have a thin layer of foam padding throughout the insole. I'm not sure the "heel rest" technology makes much of a difference, but they are moderately comfortable and definitely better than many other heels of similar height that I've gotten from say, Target. As the shoes are fake leather, they do tend to get a bit hot and sweaty. I like that the outsole has good tread to prevent slipping.

I decided to return these shoes in favor of Clarks Women's Heavenly Heart Dress Pump, Black Leather, 9.5 M US, which I found to be well worth the price. Overall, if you don't have overly-sensitive feet like I do and are looking for a modestly comfortable pump, I would recommend the Lifestride Parigi. Otherwise, splurge on something better.

These shoes are absolutely adorable! They go with so much in my closet. And they are very comfortable. Right out of the box I wore them for an entire work day. I'm typically a size 7 and I bought these in a size 7. I only wish I had enough closet space for every color!

I love these boots. I got the white to wear to the office. I like to dress funky but classy. They are not over the top, but bring the perfect amount of funk to a nice above the knee skirt or dress. I am a 6.5, but I always buy 7. The 7 was roomy and I have to wear thicker socks or my foot slides. The front of the boot doesn't have much cushion so I put one in there. I probably could have gone with 6.5 but I like wiggle room. The shaft was roomy and surprisingly soft against my skin. I am 5'2" and thin. They hit a few inches below the knee. They were not tight but did not look loose. My first day wearing them I stood for 12 hours and went for my lunchtime powerwalk with ease. My feet were not in pain. Yay! I received crazy complements. They do get black streaks from the black sole of the boot, but it rubs off easily with a tiny bit of elbow grease. I used an eraser. Small price to pay for the cost, fun, and comfort. Would love to get more colors. They are the type of shoe that make you feel more fun just for wearing them. I was on the fence on buying them, there weren't many reviews on everyday wear. So glad I made this purchase!
